Do I need to be a full-time speaker?

No. Our members run the full range -- emerging speakers giving their first talks, working pros, veterans, and legacy speakers with decades on the stage. If you speak to teach, train, sell, lead, or inspire, whether it's your whole business or one part of it, you belong here.

I'm just getting started. Is this really for me?

Yes, and especially you. Emerging speakers are a core part of this chapter, not an afterthought. You'll learn from people a few steps ahead, and All-Access members can be matched with a mentor to help you find your footing.

I've been speaking for years. What's in it for me?

Plenty. Veteran and legacy speakers sharpen on the craft's newer edges, mentor the next generation, get found by planners through the directory, and shape the chapter through leadership. The room gets better when experience is in it.

What's the difference between All-Access and Networking?

Do I also need to join the National NSA?

No. Your NSA Houston membership stands on its own -- you can join the chapter, come to our events, and use every membership benefit without a national membership. That said, we do encourage you to explore what the national National Speakers Association offers, since the two complement each other well.
